Sept. 2—Saco police arrested an area man Thursday afternoon in reference to stories of a capturing on Milliken Mills Street.
James Townsend, 61, of Saco, was charged with reckless conduct with a harmful weapon, possession of a firearm by a prohibited particular person, discharging a firearm close to a residence and violating the phrases of his probation, in line with a launch from Police Chief Jack. Allegations have been made. Clements.
After an investigation, police recognized Townsend because the suspect and obtained a search warrant for Townsend’s residence at 139 Milliken Mills Street. They have been assisted by the Southern Maine Particular Response Crew and the Cumberland County Emergency Companies Unit.
Round 1:30 p.m., police entered the house and took Townsend into custody with out incident. Townsend was taken to the York County Jail the place his bail was set at $10,000. He’s scheduled to be produced on October 21.
