Sept. 3—ANDOVER—An arrest has been made in reference to the theft of mail from the Andover Put up Workplace final January.
The put up workplace was damaged into on the night of January 22 and mail was stolen. Eric Gomez Rodriguez, 36, of New Britain, was arrested Aug. 30 and charged with third-degree housebreaking, possession of housebreaking instruments, third-degree theft and conspiracy.
Rodriguez was apprehended after he turned himself in to State Police Troop E in Norwich on an unrelated warrant, and was then discovered to be the topic of an energetic warrant and transported to State Police Troop Ok in Colchester. .
The wall of the put up workplace was broken to entry the mail drop slot space, which was found Jan. 23 by postal staff, the arrest warrant mentioned. When postal staff arrived, the field underneath the mail slot was empty. extra
